Why do you want my SSN (or business tax ID for business account users)?

One of the security features of Bethpage Online Banking is requiring each owner of an account to have a unique User ID and password.
By providing your SSN, you will be able to view all of the accounts associated with your membership.

After validating your SSN, you will be asked to immediately select a user ID and password. Bethpage will now allow only secure, more complex passwords.

What if the system doesn't recognize my SSN?

If you receive an error after submitting your SSN, it means we are missing some information on your account. Please contact the credit union for assistance.
